It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Rev. Margie Cameron-Whynot nee Slauenwhite on 24 May , at the age of Born 27 July in Middlewood, Lunenburg Co. Margie will be remembered fondly by many family relatives, friends and colleagues. She turned personal experience into a strength helping others. Known for her love of life and laughter, Margie had a fantastic sense of humor, loved by all. The color yellow reminded Margie of the joy in sunshine amidst the clouds.
The staff became familiar faces, then trusted caregivers, then friends and finally family. We will always remember your caring spirit and endless efforts. Bless you all. Visitation will be Sunday, May 27th, pm. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 28th at 1 pm. Reception to follow. Family flowers only please.
After many years of coping with the adversities of MS, Margie has finally received her wings of freedom. Be happy for her. They shall mount up with wings like the eagle. They shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Her yellow suit was a hit at the wedding. Condolences to her family. Keep your memories close and she will never be forgotten. My sincere sympathy to Margie's family. Although I was not part of her religion, Margie stands out as being one of the most important people who helped me through a period in my life while she was a pastor in West Bay..
She would visit my home and talk with me when I was at the lowest part of my life and for that I have never forgotten her.
